LISTEN LIVE! |
|
What is HBS Radio? |
Since 1997, the writers and editors of Hollywood Bitchslap have helped the moviegoing masses avoid terrible movies
through entertaining and humorous film reviews that are now seen by hundreds of thousands of people every week. HBS Radio
is our next step on the journey - soundtracks, movie reviews, entertainment news and twisted views, all right to your
WinAmp media player. |
How Do I Listen? |
Simply go to our Live365 page right here, register yourself an account (it's 100% free!),
and click the big yellow 'Play' button. A non-stop array of music, talk, film reviews and comedy will make its way to your
WinAmp player and you can listen for as long as you like at no cost! |
Do You Take Requests? |
Sure, though we can't tell you when your request will make it to air. Just leave a
comment anywhere on this blog with the title of the track, the artist, and the movie soundtrack you heard it in, and if we
think your suggestion it a good one, we'll grab the music in question and add it to the rotation. |
Can I Be a Film Critic? |
It's not easy, but if that be your goal in life, you can start by watching a LOT of
movies, writing about what you see, developing a style and personality that is all your own, and then applying somewhere
like Hollywood Bitchslap. We receive hundreds of thousands of
readers every week, so if you qualify to join us as a reviewer, it can be an incredible forum for your work. But a word of
warning - we get a lot of applications, and the vast majority aren't up to the standard we expect from our writers.
However, when we reject an applicant, we tell them why, and how they can improve, so don't take a rejection as a slap to
the face - take it as the first step of many in becoming a top notch film critic. |
Is Shawn Edwards a filthy quotewhore? |
why yes. Yes, he is. |

New FELLINI IS KING - Feb 18 edition |
Back to our regular schedule of rebroadcasting, Fellini is King is back with a new show, this one focusing on... well, the usual movies n'crap.
This time around we discuss the Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, as well as the Al Pacino legal drama classic And Justice For All, the Billy Bob Thornton/Richard Linklater remake of Bad News Bears, the Hughes Brothers indie doco American Pimp, and The Death of the Working Man, a weird documentary that takes great joy in exposing the audience to a half hour of, well, animals being slaughtered.
Huzzah for senseless violence and blood in the name of art!
Hear the show: Tuesday at 8PM, Thursday at 7PM, and Saturday at 5PM (all times Pacific). |
